ULTRA-CHRON

In 1968, Longines introduced the Ultra-Chron Diver, the world’s first dive watch powered by a high-frequency movement. By that time, Longines had already cemented its reputation as a pioneer in precision timekeeping. As early as 1910, the brand created the first high-frequency timekeeping instrument capable of measuring 1/10th of a second. In 1959, Longines developed the first high-beat wristwatch movement—an observatory chronometer that set new standards for accuracy.

The modern Ultra-Chron draws inspiration from the aesthetic codes and professional diving features of the original 1968 model. Chronometer-certified and powered by an exclusive Longines calibre with a silicon balance-spring, it offers exceptional precision and resistance to magnetic fields.
